Storming Finish In Dubai is Perfect Catalyst For Graeme Ahead Of Indian Test

Despite missing the cut last week in the Omega Dubai Desert Classic, Graeme's birdie, birdie, eagle finish to round two, which narrowly saw him lose out on the weekend's play, have been a boost of confidence to his game ahead of this week.
2012 sees the DLF Golf and Country Club host the Avantha Masters, previously the EMAAR-MGF Indian Masters, for the third successive time. Defending Champion SSP Chowrasia will again be battling to lift the title as will Graeme. Having been on the road for several weeks with the European Tour Graeme will be hoping to sign off this leg of the season with a victory ahead of a two week break.
Graeme begins his first round alongside Peter Whiteford and Himmat Singh Rai teeing off at 11:50am (06:20am UK time). He partners the same players again for his second round getting underway at 07:25am (01:55am UK time).

Graeme Storms Into Dubai Ahead Of The Omega Dubai Desert Classic

So far 2012 has gotten off to a good start for Graeme after securing a top 30 finish in his first event; the Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship.
Designed by Karl Litten and opened in 1988, the majestic Emirates Golf Club, the championship course offers a stern but fair test to all those who compete over its undulating dunes. However after a good experience in the desert in recent years Graeme moves onto Dubai with confidence, hoping to improve his World Ranking of 292 and bolster his position on the European Tour Race to Dubai Order of Merit.
Graeme begins his first round alongside Gary Boyd and Daniel Denison teeing off at 13.10pm (09.10am UK time). He partners the same players again for his second round getting underway at 08.40am (04.40am UK time).

Graeme Hopes to Draw on Previous Desert Success For Qatar Masters

Graeme began the 2012 European Tour season in last weeks HSBC Golf Championship in Abu Dhabi, where he got off to am impressive start recording two rounds in the 60's to finish in a tie for 30th place on four under.
A notoriously good tournament for Graeme, he will be hoping to reproduce last week's form again and improve on his 2011 position, finishing 28th. Another strong performance this week will also see Graeme improve on his current ranking of 80th on the Race to Dubai Order of Merit, ahead of what promises to be a very difficult season for all European Tour players as they attempt to earn a place in arguably the game's biggest trophy; the Ryder Cup.
Graeme begins his first round alongside Ricardo Gonzalez and Joel Sjoholm teeing off at 08.00am (05.00am UK time), he partners the same players again for his second round getting underway at 12.20pm (09.20am UK time).

Graeme Gets 2012 Underway In Abu Dhabi

Graeme will this week get his 2012 Race to Dubai season off to a start in a rather cool Abu Dhabi. Despite the unusually cold, 20ºC+, weather Graeme will be hoping to get onto a hot streak and put himself in contention for the title.
After a couple of unsuccessful visits to Abu Dhabi, Graeme will be hoping to go even better than his tied 15th place finish in 2009 and start the Middle Eastern swing of the European Tour in style.
