Graeme took a bit of time out of his hectic professional lifestyle last Wednesday, to play a promotional day for his headline sponsors GAC. The event was held at the beautiful Stapleford Park Golf Course, one of England’s finest stately homes and sporting estates. The course is a true rarity in among English golf courses in that it is completely free from intrusion, unfolding through the five hundred acres of beautiful English countryside.

 

Woods, ponds and streams, all teeming with wildlife, feature on many holes, although the meandering River Eye perhaps adds greatest strategic interest to the golf, coming into play on four holes.

 

The day was very close and intimate, with only a few representatives from GAC and their major clients playing alongside Graeme. The players were not put off by the inclement weather and took the chance to chat to Graeme as they walked the course, listening keenly to his advice and anecdotes. At the end of the day there was also an abundance of refreshments served in the clubhouse and it is safe to say that a good day was had by all.
